TAX RELIEF
OaC is a registered charity – No 17918 and is approved for the scheme of Tax relief for Donations to eligible Charities under section 848A Taxes Consolidation Act 1997.
Under the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 OaC may claim repayment of tax in respect of donations in excess of €250, made by taxpayers who pay tax under the PAYE system.
OaC cannot reclaim tax in respect of donors who pay tax under self assessment – such donors are, themselves, entitled to claim relief on their own self-assessment tax returns.
